General Definition of Work
The performance area executive director, under minimal supervision, performs senior level work with extensive decision-making discretion coordinating instructional support services to assist schools in achieving desired student achievement goals. This position will support the assigned performance area to serve the needs of the schools and community. Employee will oversee principals in assigned areas to resolve school-based concerns and problems. This position is responsible for assisting principals and teachers in striving for maximum student achievement. Employee performs advanced and supervisory work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to a wide variety of programs and activities under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of School Performance.

Place of Work
The normal place of work is on the premises used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools reserves the right to require you to work at such other place(s) as it may reasonably require from time to time.
