Seeking for an Performance Automation Tester responsible for developing detailed test plans and procedures, translating user requirements into test cases, executing performance and automated testing, managing test data and environments, and identifying opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed test plans, test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and testing specifications based on business and user requirements.
Translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive and traceable test scenarios and test cases.
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Perform performance testing to evaluate application responsiveness, stability, scalability, and overall system performance.
Leverage automation technologies and methodologies wherever appropriate to streamline testing activities.
Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of test automation frameworks and processes.
Perform test data management, including identifying, creating, maintaining, and validating data required for testing activities.
Support test environment planning, building, configuration, validation, and readiness activities.
Test, monitor, and refine software and hardware applications to ensure established quality and performance standards are achieved.
Analyze testing results and identify application defects, performance bottlenecks, environment issues, and other quality concerns.
Troubleshoot test failures and determine whether issues are related to applications, test scripts, test data, environments, integrations, or infrastructure.
Work with development and technical teams to support defect triage, resolution, retesting, and validation.
Develop and maintain required test-level and user-level documentation.
Maintain accurate records of test execution, results, defects, and testing activities.
Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes through improved automation methodologies and QA practices.
Apply established quality assurance principles, methods, standards, and best practices to project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, performance testing, or test automation.
Hands-on experience with test automation and automated test execution.
Experience with performance testing of software or enterprise applications.
Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures.
Experience translating user or business requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
Experience with test data management.
Experience with test environment planning, configuration, and validation.
Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and testing methodologies.
Experience analyzing test results and troubleshooting application or testing issues.
