Performance Automotive Technician

A premier automotive customization and performance shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician with a passion for high-end, specialty, and performance vehicles. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and modification work on luxury, exotic, vintage, and performance vehicles
• Support custom automotive projects involving:
  • Suspension upgrades
  • Intake and exhaust systems
  • Performance enhancements
  • Electrical and electronic integrations
  • Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose complex technical issues
• Work collaboratively with fabrication, electronics, and project teams to support custom vehicle builds
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work practices at all times
• Ensure all work meets high-quality craftsmanship and performance standards
• Assist with prototype installations, custom modifications, and specialty automotive projects
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and detail-oriented shop environment

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Repair, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of technician experience supporting luxury, exotic, European, or performance vehicle brands
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience across mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with performance modifications including suspension, intake, exhaust, and related upgrades
• Broad knowledge across multiple automotive manufacturers and vehicle platforms
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Must provide personal technician tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom vehicle builds or aftermarket automotive modifications
• Fabrication or metalworking experience
• Familiarity with advanced vehicle electronics and integrated systems
• Experience working with collector, exotic, or specialty vehicles
