Description:

Seeking a Performance Engineer with strong expertise in performance testing, monitoring, and application scalability for cloud-native and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing load, stress, and endurance tests using NeoLoad, JMeter, and LoadRunner, while leveraging Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Splunk to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis. This role requires experience with cloud deployments, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes environments, high availability, resilience testing, and observability practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability while driving performance engineering best practices across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Implement performance engineering and high availability strategies to optimize application efficiency.
• Develop and execute performance test scripts using NeoLoad, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Monitor application performance using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and other APM tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance and scalability bottlenecks.
• Analyze Splunk logs, Dynatrace distributed traces, AppDynamics snapshots, method hotspots, and response-time hotspots to identify slow components.
• Perform performance testing for cloud deployments, Docker/Kubernetes containerized applications, and microservices.
• Develop and execute SQL queries and leverage Java/Python for performance testing activities.
• Conduct auto-scaling, chaos, and failover testing for pod/node failures, CPU/memory saturation, network exhaustion, container startup failures, and dependency failures.
• Participate in technical discussions related to application integration, resilience, observability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and scalability.

Qualifications:

• 8 10 years of Performance Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with NeoLoad, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
• Experience executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and AppDynamics for performance monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Experience analyzing Splunk logs, distributed traces, and application performance metrics.
• Experience testing cloud-native, containerized, and microservices-based applications.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java and/or Python.
• Strong SQL query development and analysis skills.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, auto-scaling, chaos engineering, and failover testing.
• Strong understanding of high availability, resilience, and observability.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
