We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineering Manager I to act as a subject matter expert within Performance Optimization Management.
You will work at various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
Participate in pre-sales and consulting activities, leveraging domain-specific knowledge to provide technical expertise in solution design, requirements that align with client needs
Lead and support offshore/onsite performance analysts
Create high-quality test documentation
Coordinate smaller-scale projects and/or initiatives, ensuring all project stages are managed effectively
Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
Collect and analyze feedback from completed projects to identify areas of improvement and apply lessons learned to future projects
Lead project audits and contribute to technical proposal creation
Requirements
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or closely related discipline; plus 2 years of employment experience in the job offered (Performance Engineering Manager), Chief Performance Analyst, Software Testing Engineer, Testing Architect, Quality Assurance Engineer, or closely related occupation
Testing the performance of software programs by using one of the following software testing tools: Gatling, JMeter, or LoadRunner
Create and customize manual test cases from requirements and technical documentation using at least one of the following web application development-related programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or .NET
Web and database development systems and frameworks to develop test cases for software
SDLC framework, performance optimization management, performance test planning
At least one of the following cloud-based database services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Relational databases or NoSQL databases
At least one of the following cloud service models: Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), or Function as a Service (FaaS)
