Our client, a fast-growing, venture-backed startup reshaping the performance marketing landscape. They are looking for Performance Marketing Strategist to serve as a hands-on expert. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and an expanding roster of e-commerce customers. This role is part advisor, part operator—you need to be able to dive deep into campaign datasets, form a sharp point of view, and communicate it flawlessly to marketing leaders.
What You Will Be Doing
Client Strategy & Partnership: Partner with internal teams to manage the full customer journey from pre-sales through post-sales, serving as the trusted performance marketing expert for high-growth e-commerce brands.
Data & Analytics Deep Dives: Get deep in the weeds of campaign data across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics to analyze metrics, identify trends, and build robust A/B testing frameworks.
AI Optimization Collaboration: Work alongside advanced AI agents to optimize campaign performance, monitor account health, and ensure sustained growth for customers.
Executive Advisory: Advise CMOs and senior marketing leaders on full-funnel strategy, channel mix, budget allocation, and the interplay between key ad funnel metrics.
Campaign Operations: Translate complex client marketing objectives into actionable media plans and execute day-to-day platform operations, including seasonal campaigns, promotions, and ROI adjustments.
What You Bring to the Team
Experience: 6+ years of hands-on digital campaign management experience specifically focused on Google Ads and Meta Ads within an e-commerce context.
Agency Background: Proven track record working within a reputable, mid-sized performance marketing agency.
Communication Skills: Experience in a highly client-facing role, with the confidence to advise CMOs and senior marketing executives on campaign health and trajectory.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Location: Ability to work in-person 3-5 days a week at the Mountain View, CA office (hybrid flexibility available if commuting from 1+ hours away).
