The Part-Time Performance Standards Investigator earns a competitive hourly salary of $43.79-$48.49 based on qualifications and experience.

As a Part-TimePerformance Standards Investigator, you will:
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations into employee misconduct, workplace concerns, and policy violations
- Interview employees, witnesses, and leadership to gather facts and ensure a complete understanding of each case
- Analyze evidence and prepare clear, well-documented investigative reports with findings and recommendations
- Partner with HR leadership and department directors to support fair and consistent disciplinary decisions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and City policies
- Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to reduce risk and improve workplace practices
- Provide guidance to supervisors on performance management, documentation, and appropriate escalation
- Support a culture of accountability, transparency, and professionalism across the organization
Education, Experience, and Licenses:
- Bachelor 's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, or a related field
- Experience in a public sector or municipal environment is a plus
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be considered in meeting minimum qualifications.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred Certifications:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or Workplace Investigation Certification
