Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Supports RAPU, Regulatory and Policy Updates. Application is policy governance platform; number of users have increased over the years. Test engineer will improve the performance of the team and tools. Will be the test engineer assigned to a scrum team, other scrum team have other test engineers. Work on Kanban model. When stories progress and become ready, they are passed to the engineer to do automation testing and update the performance script.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 7+ years of experience in Performance Testing of Java-based applications and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or BlazeMeter (7+ years) for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• 5+ years of experience with Selenium for test automation and regression testing.
• Proven experience in test case design, test script development, test execution, and results analysis.
• Strong understanding of application performance metrics, bottleneck identification, and performance tuning.
• Experience analyzing JVM, application server, database, and infrastructure performance.
• Ability to create performance test strategies, test plans, and performance reports.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience using GitHub Copilot, Devin, or other AI-assisted development/testing tools (AI Agents).
• Experience testing and validating applications for ADA (Accessibility) compliance.
• 1+ year of experience with Playwright for modern web application automation.
• 1+ year of experience writing and optimizing SQL Server queries for test data preparation, validation, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.
