Position Summary

Position provides direct leadership, oversight, and coordination of perioperative technicians across surgical and procedural services. This role ensures safe, efficient, and standardized support for perioperative workflows including case preparation, anesthesia support, sterile processing coordination, and operating room turnover.

Responsible for team performance, operational efficiency, equipment readiness, and collaboration across Surgical Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia to support high-quality patient care and optimal throughput.

What the Peri Operative Anesthesia Tech Supervisor will need:

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification. Or relevant certification preferred
• Minimum: Minimum of 3-5 years healthcare experience in perioperative services, operating room support, or related healthcare environment.
• Preferred: Prior leadership, lead, or charge-level experience.

What the Peri Operative Anesthesia Tech Supervisor will do:

• Provides direct supervision of perioperative technicians, including:
• Daily oversight of work assignments and staffing coverage
• Scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing adjustments based on volume
• Performance management, coaching, and corrective action
• Leads hiring, onboarding, training, and competency validation of staff
• Promotes a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
• Serves as escalation point for operational issues impacting perioperative technician services
