We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing care and support to patients during the prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities:

As a Perinatal RN, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing comprehensive care to patients during the perinatal period, including prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum stages.
2. Monitoring the health of both mother and baby, including performing routine assessments and diagnostic tests.
3. Assisting doctors during labor and delivery, including preparing patients, providing pain management, and assisting with cesarean sections or other surgical procedures.
4. Educating patients and their families on prenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, newborn care, and potential complications.
5. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
6. Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and observations.
7. Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as necessary.
8. Complying with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the state of CO.
2. Must have a minimum of 1 year of Perinatal nursing experience/.
3. Must have current Certifications: BLS, STABLE, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
