About the Opportunity


Stoughton Dentistry is seeking a skilled, compassionate Periodontist to join our established private practice in Stoughton, MA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist looking for a flexible part-time position in a supportive, patient-focused environment. We are looking for someone who values high-quality clinical care, strong communication, and collaboration with our general dentists and team.
Schedule: One day every two weeks or one day per month, with flexibility based on availability.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities

•   Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions ranging from gingivitis to advanced periodontal disease
•   Perform periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, and soft-tissue grafting
•   Perform extractions, bone grafting, and dental implant placement
•   Develop comprehensive, individualized periodontal treatment plans
•   Collaborate closely with our general dentists and other providers to coordinate patient care
•   Educate patients about periodontal health, treatment options, and long-term maintenance
•   Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
•   Provide a comfortable, professional, and patient-centered experience

Qualifications

•   DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
•   Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program / Certificate in Periodontics
•   Active Massachusetts dental license or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
•    Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Periodontology preferred
•    Strong periodontal surgical and implant-placement skills
•    Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
•    Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
•    Collaborative, dependable, and team-oriented approach
