This full-time opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in the fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. Job Description:
Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients
Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies
Monitor patients vital signs and responses during procedures
Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes
Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
Education & Certification Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Kansas
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred but not required
Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience preferred
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
