Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Lima Memorial, Lima, Ohio
Position Overview:
Lima Memorial Health System is actively seeking two highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our dedicated anesthesia team at our state-of-the-art hospital in Lima, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, MAC, and TIVA techniques.
- Independently perform preoperative assessments, induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia, as well as nerve blocks.
- Collaborate effectively with an anesthesiologist-led team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
- Manage anesthesia in a Level II trauma designation facility with an annual emergency room volume of approximately 28,000 cases.
- Cover an average of 2-3 cases per CRNA per shift, supporting a total of 20-30 surgical cases daily across 12 operating rooms, including endoscopy, open-heart, and obstetrics.
- Support pain management services, including participation in OR-based pain management procedures once weekly.
- Operate within an organized anesthesia-specific EMR system (Spectrum), with access to cutting-edge equipment and technology.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and safety standards, providing autonomous care within a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia.
- Valid Ohio RN and CRNA licensure or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.
- Outstanding clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain credentialing within approximately 30 days.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Schedule:
- Typically scheduled for 7:00 am 3:30 pm, with flexibility for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on operational needs.
- Coverage includes weekdays with occasional weekend duties as needed.
