Compensation: Competitive hourly rate up to $22/hour, commensurate with experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical support under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician, ensuring high-quality patient care in a compassionate and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical procedures including blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other duties within the scope of certification.
- Assist physicians during examinations, which may include taking vital signs, recording patient history, and preparing patients for procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is sanitized.
- Communicate effectively with patients, including managing phone calls, providing instructions as directed by physicians, and addressing patient needs with empathy.
- Requisition necessary supplies to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Support patients before, during, and after examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and proper preparation.
- Assist with nursing duties and procedures as directed by the physician.
- Collaborate as a team member, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in all aspects of patient care and organizational operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid LPN or LVN license; CMA certification is preferred.
- Prior clinical experience in a medical setting is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring, professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Personal appearance and attitude reflecting professionalism.
- Emotional stability and discretion when dealing with sensitive patient information.
