What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee all medical services within correctional health programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
• Provide clinical oversight for women's health and adult health, ensuring quality standards are met
• Develop and revise policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
• Manage, supervise, and motivate medical staff and advanced practice providers
• Serve as a liaison with law enforcement, hospital partners, and community stakeholders
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
• Mentor and provide medical education to learners and staff
• Stay current with evolving laws, regulations, and medical practices in correctional health

What You Need
Required:

• Medical license in Texas
• Minimum of 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of correctional health practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Board certification in a relevant specialty
• Experience with correctional or underserved populations
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with external agencies
