What Youll Do
Lead and oversee clinical operations within a Level IIIB NICU
Provide expert neonatal care for critically ill newborns
Manage and mentor a team of neonatologists, nurses, and support staff
Lead quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Collaborate with hospital leadership, academic partners, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Support scholarly activities and drive neonatal program development
Utilize advanced neonatal therapies like high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide
What You Need
MD or DO degree; Board Certified in Neonatology
Virginia medical license or eligibility
Proven leadership and clinical skills in a NICU setting
Strong commitment to quality care, mentorship, and academic advancement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
