Perm – Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Level III NICU in Gastonia, NC

• End Date/Duration: Permanent
• Shift: 20 hours per day (rotating shifts)
• Hours/Week: Full-time, scheduled as needed
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• License/Certs: NC State APRN License, Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-only, not FNP or PNP)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years as NNP (excluding RN experience); no new graduates
• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

• Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III 16-bed NICU
• Collaborate with neonatologists to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Cover neonates and assist with general nursery duties
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and family support
• Manage daily care, monitor patient progress, and assist with procedures
• Document care and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Support unit operations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Valid North Carolina APRN license
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience (excluding RN time)
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Experience with single-room NICU environment
• Comfortable with shift rotations and working in a fast-paced setting
