We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Waldorf, Maryland. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work with both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation patients.
As part of a 115-bed skilled nursing facility, you'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain functional independence, achieve their therapy goals, and improve their overall quality of life.

Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's functional needs and goals
Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility
Provide therapeutic activities focused on strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional performance
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary care team
Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and other members of the care team
Participate in care planning and contribute to patient-centered treatment goals
Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging treatment environment
Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
