What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision
Order, interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies
Assist during surgical procedures and patient management pre- and post-operation
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes
Perform office-based procedures such as joint injections
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Participate in rotational call coverage and team meetings
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards
What You Need:
Valid Physician Assistant certification (PA-C) in Vermont or eligible
At least 1 year of orthopedic or relevant clinical experience
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform sitting, standing, and walking tasks throughout shifts
Excellent teamwork and patient-focused attitude
