What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans under supervision
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and labs
• Assist during surgical procedures in the orthopedic setting
• Manage pre-op and post-op patient care and follow-up
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
• Perform orthopedic procedures, including joint injections and office-based interventions
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in medical records
• Participate in rotating call coverage as assigned
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
• Support interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

• Valid Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C)
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to perform orthopedic-related procedures
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Effective in a clinical environment, with close vision and focus skills
