What Youll Do
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement treatment plans under supervision
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and labs
Assist during surgical procedures in the orthopedic setting
Manage pre-op and post-op patient care and follow-up
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
Perform orthopedic procedures, including joint injections and office-based interventions
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in medical records
Participate in rotating call coverage as assigned
Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
Support interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Valid Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C)
Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to perform orthopedic-related procedures
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Effective in a clinical environment, with close vision and focus skills
