What You’ll Do
Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward, managing an average daily census of 16-18 patients.
Conduct newborn nursery examinations and participate in delivery room care.
Offer pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department.
Collaborate with subspecialists, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.
Engage in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students.
Participate in an academic environment affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California.
What You Need
Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
Valid medical license to practice in Nevada or eligible for licensure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is preferred but not required
