What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average daily census of 16-18 patients
- Perform newborn nursery examinations
- Conduct pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and intensivists
- Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed PICU team
- Participate in teaching pediatric residents and medical students
- Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care at a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
What You Need
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Active Nevada medical license, or ability to obtain one
- Minimum of 1+ years of pediatric inpatient experience preferred
- Key skills: strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a passion for pediatric care
