What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward, managing an average daily census of 16-18 patients.
• Conduct newborn nursery examinations and participate in delivery room care.
• Offer pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with subspecialists, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students.
• Participate in an academic environment affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California.

What You Need

• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
• Valid medical license to practice in Nevada or eligible for licensure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is preferred but not required
