What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive internal medicine care within a value-based, population-focused clinic
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists
Mentor residents through clinical supervision, quality improvement projects, and scholarly activities
Educate residents on social determinants of health, community engagement, and equitable clinical practices
Lead and participate in quality improvement and health equity research initiatives
Contribute to curriculum development aligned with ACGME competencies
Use risk stratification and population health tools to improve patient outcomes and reduce disparities
Support clinical operations and improve standard practices in a collaborative environment
What You Need
Required:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Valid state medical license in Texas or ability to obtain
Experience in primary care, health equity, or value-based care preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills
Preferred:
Experience working in academic or population health settings
Background in quality improvement methodologies
Familiarity with community-centered care practices
