What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 34 beds
Conduct daily rounds and develop patient care plans
Collaborate with a team of 2 Neonatologists and 4 NNPs
Oversee and support 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
Manage newborn nursery rounds
Support approximately 1,500–2,000 deliveries annually
Maintain adherence to evidence-based protocols and quality initiatives
Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to advance neonatal care
Participate in clinical excellence and continuous improvement efforts
What You Need:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics; Neonatology Certification preferred
Residency within the local area required; relocation may be necessary
Preferred experience in neonatal intensive care
Must have current licenses and certifications as per Louisiana medical licensure requirements
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
