What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
Manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
Deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9-11 neonates
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, nursing, and respiratory therapy staff
Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory teams
Develop and implement clinical protocols
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Engage in strategic growth and program expansion efforts
Maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and staff
Optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia
What You Need:
Active Virginia medical license or eligibility
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
Prior NICU experience preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment: This is a permanent, full-time position at a leading facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia, dedicated to delivering high-quality neonatal care in a supportive environment. The NICU features 8 beds and collaborates closely with obstetric and other specialty teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
