What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert neonatal intensive care in a 92-bed Level IV NICU at a regional referral hospital.
  • Manage high-acuity neonatal cases in a high-tech, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Participate in scheduled 24/7 in-house coverage alongside neonatal nurse practitioners and other neonatologists.
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.
  • Supervise and support active resident rotations within the NICU team.
  • Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Deliver family-centered care, ensuring clear communication and empathetic support.
  • Contribute to a balanced and sustainable work schedule to promote physician wellness.
What You Need
Required:
  • State medical license in Georgia or eligible for licensure
  • Certification or eligibility in Neonatology (ABPN or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a NICU setting preferred

Preferred:
  • Prior experience with high-acuity neonatal care
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Dedication to quality improvement and family-centered care
