OB/GYN Physician – Full-Time Staff Opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont

Duration: Full-time, ongoing
Shift: 3-4 clinic days per week; average of 3 OR days/month, with shared hospital call (1 in 4)
Hours/Week: Approximately 36-40 hours
Employment Type: Full-time staff physician
Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN, VT medical license required
Experience: At least 2 years clinical OB/GYN experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Salary Range: $280,000 – $360,000 annually (based on experience and internal equity)
Additional Compensation: Call extra beyond scheduled rotation

What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for a diverse patient population
Manage gynecologic consults referred from primary care and midwives
Perform office-based gynecologic procedures
Conduct minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries in new operating rooms
Support natural childbirth options, including VBACs and water births
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicians, midwives, nurses, and support staff
Provide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including deliveries
Participate in on-call rotation for obstetric emergencies
Engage in evidence-based clinical practices aligned with Vermont’s reproductive rights laws
What You Need:
Valid VT medical license (or eligible for licensure)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Minimum 2 years of clinical OB/GYN experience preferred
Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
