What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and stage various types of cancers through clinical assessments, imaging, and labs
• Develop personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and prognosis
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists to coordinate care
• Participate in clinical trials and research projects to advance oncology practices
• Stay current with clinical guidelines and breakthroughs in cancer care
• Mentor staff and contribute to department initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Valid medical license in Vermont or ability to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology
• Experience in oncology preferred (exact years not required)
• Strong communication skills, compassionate patient approach
