What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and stage various types of cancers through clinical assessments, imaging, and labs
Develop personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly
Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care
Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and prognosis
Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists to coordinate care
Participate in clinical trials and research projects to advance oncology practices
Stay current with clinical guidelines and breakthroughs in cancer care
Mentor staff and contribute to department initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes
What You Need:
Valid medical license in Vermont or ability to obtain
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology
Experience in oncology preferred (exact years not required)
Strong communication skills, compassionate patient approach
