What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, stage, and develop personalized treatment plans for various cancers
  • Manage chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Manage side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and navigators
  • Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with advances in oncology guidelines and practices
  • Mentor other healthcare professionals within the department

What You Need
Required:
  • Medical license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior oncology experience (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred:
  • Experience in outpatient oncology care
  • Ability to work independently in a rural outpatient setting
