Blanchard Valley Health System, through The Armes Family Cancer Care Center in Findlay, Northwest Ohio, is seeking a part-time Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) to join its physician-led, outpatient-focused Comprehensive Cancer Care program, offering a flexible 1 2 day workweek, advanced technology, and a collaborative team environment as part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Job Description:
Part-time Radiation Oncology role (1 2 days/week)
Highly competitive ***/day compensation (***/hour)
100% outpatient practice with minimal office-based call
Average patient volume: 20 30 patients/day
Advanced technology: TrueBeam linear accelerators with HyperArc
Siemens CT Simulator (installed 2024)
Mayo Clinic Care Network affiliation

- Must be TRULY board eligible or board certified
Practice
Provide outpatient Radiation Oncology consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Manage and oversee radiation therapy delivery for oncology patients in a fully outpatient setting
Utilize ARIA and Eclipse systems for treatment planning and workflow management
Work with Cerner EMR for integrated cancer center and hospital documentation
Collaborate closely with a dedicated oncology team including radiation therapists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists
Ensure safe, precise radiation delivery using Sun Nuclear and Radformation support tools
Participate in a physician-led, autonomy-driven, single-site cancer care program
Maintain continuity of care within an established Comprehensive Cancer Care Center
