Physical Therapist - Acute Care in Owosso, MI

Pay & Benefits
  • Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 annually (commissioned on experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

What You’ll Do
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document patient progress and care provided accurately in medical records
  • Delegate appropriate treatment tasks to PTAs and supervise their work
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on injury management, prevention, and self-care
  • Support hospital’s mission by maintaining standards of patient safety and quality
  • Mentor and guide students or new staff as needed
  • Participate in community education and outreach programs

What You Need
  • Required: Michigan state license in physical therapy
  • Preferred: Outpatient or acute care experience
  • Key skills: Strong assessment and communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proficiency with clinical and documentation systems
  • Additional requirements: Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and mobility tasks, with or without corrective devices
