Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within the scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prioritize patient needs and adapt swiftly to changing clinical conditions and unit demands.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in all patient interactions.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Oregon.
- BLS certification is required; additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in effective communication, documentation, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work flexibly, prioritize tasks, and respond efficiently to emergent situations.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with electronic medical records and internet research.
- Proven commitment to punctuality, reliability, and teamwork.
