Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical (Night Shifts)

Position Overview:
Salina Regional Health Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team on night shifts. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse medical and surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Adhere to professional standards, state regulations, and facility policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Unit Details:
- Work within either the 3SE, 4Med, or 5Surg departments.
- Maintain a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1 to provide attentive and personalized care.

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or ability to obtain licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Prior Med-Surg experience preferred but not mandatory; a commitment to patient-centered care is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $29.00 to $43.00, based on education and experience, plus a $2.00 shift and weekend differential.
- Relocation allowance up to $5,000; details discussed during the interview.
