What You’ll Do

• Perform mobile ultrasound exams at facilities such as nursing homes, prisons, and private homes
• Unload and operate portable sonography equipment, ensuring high-quality, diagnostic images
• Digitally send images for radiologist interpretation
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and obtain necessary clinical documentation
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and functionality
• Provide excellent communication and professional service to clients and team members
• Follow safety, infection control, and professional ethical standards at all times
• Complete required documentation, billing, and reporting accurately and promptly

What You Need
Required:

• Valid ARDMS and CCI - RCIS certifications
• Current medical physical exam and TB screening (annual)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across regions
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Basic computer and smartphone skills

Preferred:

• Prior mobile ultrasound experience
• Knowledge of regional geography and travel routes
• Ability to perform and adapt to various exam types and patient needs

About the Assignment
This position provides mobile ultrasound services primarily in nursing homes, prisons, and home care settings across Columbia, SC. The sonographer will travel in a company-provided vehicle, performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures ordered by physicians.
