Job Title: Perm - Mammography Technologist (Days)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our reputable healthcare team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will perform mammographic procedures with precision, uphold safety standards, and participate in a dynamic clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammographic imaging procedures for diverse patient populations in accordance with physician orders, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Coordinate case management efficiently with team members to maintain highest levels of patient throughput and care quality.
- Conduct daily quality control assessments on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., ACR) and state regulations.
- Assist in the maintenance, reporting, and repair of equipment to support operational excellence.
- Create a professional, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, upholding the institutions standards of service.
- Manage all administrative procedures related to mammography, including processing charges, interpreting films, generating reports, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Strictly follow radiation safety protocols, universal precautions, and hospital safety policies during all procedures.
- Report safety hazards or incidents promptly and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification in Mammography (VMS certification preferred)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Proven experience in performing mammography in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $38$56, commensurate with experience
- Potential to advance into a Lead Technologist role, offering a salaried position with a yearly salary range of $77,000$115,000
- Sign-on bonus opportunities for qualified candidates who are in the process of relocating to NH
