As a mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services across a variety of settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, correctional facilities, and home health environments. The role offers autonomy, a diverse patient population, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic X-ray images.
Set up and unload portable X-ray units at various facilities, ensuring images meet clinical standards for diagnostic interpretation.
Submit or transmit images promptly to radiologists for review and diagnosis.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
Handle and scan exam-related paperwork, billing documents, and reports in accordance with protocols.
Maintain and service X-ray equipment and company vehicles to ensure reliable operation.
Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate services smoothly.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification required.
State licensure in Maryland or eligible for licensure.
Previous experience with portable digital and CR radiography highly preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and pushing equipment weighing up to 50-100 lbs, with accommodations as needed.
Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with diverse patients and healthcare teams.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between facilities as scheduled.
