What Youll Do
- Operate ultrasound and vascular imaging equipment following exam protocols
- Select appropriate transducers and adjust controls for optimal imaging
- Explain procedures to patients considering their age and comprehension levels
- Assess patient discomfort or pain, escalating concerns to physicians as needed
- Maintain patient safety and reduce healthcare errors through proper procedures
- Document patient information accurately in EMR (HMS Medhost)
- Perform equipment maintenance and adjustments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
What You Need
Required:
- Valid NH MIRT license or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year ultrasound and vascular imaging experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and follow protocols
Preferred:
- Additional certification in vascular imaging
- Experience with HMS Medhost EMR
