Position Overview
The Assistant Clinical Director will support daily clinical operations while maintaining involvement in patient care. This role includes chart review, quality assurance, scheduling, and stepping in to assist when the Clinical Director is unavailable. Candidates will begin training as a case manager before transitioning into leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Assist with QA/QAPI initiatives and clinical documentation accuracy
- Support staff scheduling and coordination of patient care services
- Step in to assist with leadership duties in the absence of the Clinical Director
- Provide clinical support in the field as needed
- Assist with payroll processes and timekeeping accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with home health and hospice regulations
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Idaho required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in home health or hospice required
- Clinical leadership experience is a plus but not required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of home health or hospice regulations preferred
