Description

KPG Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist for a permanent position. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, assisting healthcare providers in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise in radiology and commitment to patient care will make you a valuable member of our healthcare team.

·       Specialty: CT Tech

·       Location – Claremont, NH

·       Pay: [customText13] . Depending on experience.

·       Shift Time: Varied 12 hours Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm and one overnight- Monday 6pm to 6am on Tuesday morn

·       Weekly Hours: [customInt3]

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on CT imaging.
  • Certification: Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (ARRT- CT.
  • Licensure: State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and relevant software. Familiarity with various CT imaging protocols and contrast administration.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality CT images and maintain accurate records.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and positioning patients as necessary, and assisting with physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CT Scanning: Perform a variety of CT scans, including routine diagnostic, contrast-enhanced, and specialized scans, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Welcome and prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and performing routine quality control checks.
  • Image Quality: Produce high-quality CT images by adjusting equipment settings as needed and ensuring patients are properly positioned.
  • Contrast Administration: Administer contrast media as required for specific scans, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks to patients, yourself, and colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including images, exam details, and relevant clinical information, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
  • Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss patient histories and provide preliminary findings as needed. Communicate effectively with patients to explain the CT scanning process.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest advancements in CT imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CT imaging services.
