Permanent Guest Teacher

We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and motivated permanent guest teacher to serve the student community at Lake Denoon Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. Wisconsin DPI certification to teach is preferred; a substitute license is required. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a student-centered philosophy of education and a broad repertoire of instructional strategies, differentiation/personalized learning techniques, and literacy advocacy.

Candidates must understand the developmental stages of widely divergent children and implement developmentally responsive mid-level programming; they must be skilled at proactively managing student behavior by fostering positive relationships based on mutual respect and by intervening as necessary to assist students toward the acquisition of self-discipline.

• Familiarity with Common Core and state standards in all relevant subject area disciplines;
• The ability to present lesson plans that are relevant, rigorous, differentiated, and integrate curriculum;
