We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Cañon City, Colorado. This permanent opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no weekend rotation, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing environment.
Located in a beautiful Colorado setting, this 80-bed facility provides a supportive environment where you can build strong relationships with patients while working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's functional needs and goals
Assist patients in improving independence with activities of daily living and functional tasks
Provide therapeutic activities focused on strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and functional performance
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the care team
Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging treatment environment
Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Colorado
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
