We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Hayward, CA. This permanent opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no weekend rotation, and the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a 99-bed skilled nursing facility.

Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional tasks
Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
Promote patient safety, independence, mobility, and quality of life
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current California OTA license or eligibility for licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
