Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room | Day Shift

Pay Rate: $31.35 – $46.59 / hour (based on experience)

Location: Manhattan, KS

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (32, 36, or 40 hours/week)

Shift: Day Shift (8, 10, or 12-hour options) | No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.

• Assist with surgical suite setup, sterile field preparation, and terminal cleaning of OR suites.

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, scrub techs, and anesthesia providers to maintain patient safety and efficient room turnovers.

• Adapt seamlessly to varying case loads including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, and General Surgery.

• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation (Meditech Expanse).

Qualifications

• Education & License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas (or compact equivalent).

• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required.

• Clinical Experience: Minimum hands-on experience in orthopedic surgery (specifically total joint replacements and sports medicine).

• Specialty Flexibility: Demonstrated capability to circulate/assist across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, and Cataract procedures.

• EHR: Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
