We are seeking a highly organized Permitting Coordinator to support our commercial construction team. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure projects remain organized, compliant, and on schedule for permitting.

Job Details3+ years of experience within the construction industry, ideally with experience in permitting, project coordination, or construction administration
- Strong understanding of the permitting process for residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Experience preparing, submitting, tracking, and coordinating construction permit applications
- Ability to communicate effectively with municipalities, building departments, plan reviewers, and regulatory agencies
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, permits, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to identify potential delays or permitting issues and proactively escalate concerns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, superintendents, design professionals, and leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment where priorities and deadlines can change
- Strong team-player mentality with a professional, collaborative approach
- Ability to travel locally 1–2 times per week to courthouses, municipalities, or other permitting offices as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
