Personal BankerExpress Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a trusted local client.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay: $19-$22/hour DOEPosition SummaryOur client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join their team. This role is responsible for originating and servicing a variety of consumer loan products while delivering exceptional service to clients in person, over the phone, and through digital channels.The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with customers, identify financial needs, and recommend appropriate banking solutions—all while supporting the organization’s mission and core values.Key ResponsibilitiesLending & Financial ServicesAnalyze customer needs, assess risk, and structure consumer loans (including Consumer Loans, Rapid Reserve, and Credit Cards)Review and process loan applications, ensuring proper approval/denial procedures are followedAnalyze financial and credit data to make informed lending decisionsPresent loans exceeding lending limits to appropriate authority for approvalEnsure compliance with all lending regulations and proper lien filingAssist with collections, including delinquent accounts and NSF balances as authorizedCustomer Service & Relationship BuildingProvide exceptional service to customers and internal team membersBuild and maintain relationships to identify opportunities for additional servicesParticipate in community outreach and the Bank’s Call Program to grow businessRefer customers to other departments for specialized servicesAccount Services & OperationsOpen, maintain, and close deposit accounts for consumer and business clientsAssist with CDs, HSAs, IRAs, and other account typesSupport customers with online/mobile banking and digital toolsIssue debit cards and resolve disputes or inquiriesHandle routine account maintenance, including address changes and stop paymentsAssist with safe deposit boxes and general account servicingMaintain accurate documentation and electronic filingCompliance & Quality ControlEnsure adherence to all bank policies and regulatory requirements (BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC, etc.)Maintain complete and compliant loan and account documentationProvide quality control feedback on credit filesMeet performance goals and lending guidelinesQualificationsMinimum 1 year of customer service experience requiredBanking, teller, or new account experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferredMust be bondableStrong computer skills, including 10-key proficiencyWork EnvironmentProfessional office settingPrimarily sedentary with occasional lifting up to 30 poundsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPositive, “get-it-done” attitudeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsApply Today!If you're ready to grow your career in banking and make a meaningful impact with customers, apply now with Express Employment Professionals!
