University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aid to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients and their families to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide mobility assistance and help clients move safely within their homes.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or caregiving is an asset, but NOT required.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills IS A MUST.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license or State ID is required for the position.
- Reliable Transportation is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks.
