Personal Care Aid Weekends

Introduction:

We are seeking someone compassionate and reliable to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The Personal Care Assistant will assist with daily living activities, grooming, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, companionship, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Hours: 

Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 4 pm 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care

• Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aid certification 

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules

• Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility, as needed
