    Description

    • Starting at $20.00 per hour

    Provide personal care to HANCI Home Care clients at assigned location and time. Provide basic personal care services to assist with the activities of daily living. PCA’s help in light housekeeping services when the client is unable to manage the home and care for him/herself. The PCA maintains a safe and habitable home environment for the client.

    1. A certificate from a training program in personal care aide services approved by the New York State Department of Health OR
    1. An equivalency certificate from an agency approved by the New York State Departments of Health to provide such a certificate AND
    1. Must have training and knowledge in Age specific competency from birth to death.

    In those instances where health related tasks are to be performed, training in such health-related tasks is required and demonstration of competency obtained prior to performing the tasks. In instances where training/certification is needed, HANCI will provide free training classes.
