Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and support to clients in Farmington Hills, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the care team
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar role is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
• Ability to pass background checks
