    Personal Care Aide (PCA)\n

    A Lifetime of Hope is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Personal Care Aides to provide in-home support to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living.

    \n

    Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities

    \n

    Schedule: Day, Evening, Night & Weekend Shifts Available

    \n

    Service Areas: Newnan, Carrollton, Fayetteville, LaGrange & Surrounding Areas

    \n

    Pay: $_9.00_ $_12.00_ per hour, based on assignment and qualifications

    Responsibilities\n
    • \n
    • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
    • \n
    • Provide toileting and incontinence care
    • \n
    • Assist with mobility and transfers as required by the client's care plan
    • \n
    • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
    • \n
    • Provide companionship and supervision
    • \n
    • Perform light housekeeping related to client care
    • \n
    • Accompany clients on errands, appointments, or community outings when assigned
    • \n
    • Follow the client's established plan of care
    • \n
    • Accurately document services provided
    • \n
    • Clock in and out using the agency's Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system
    • \n
    • Promptly communicate changes in the client's condition or concerns to the appropriate agency staff
    • \n
    Qualifications & Requirements\n
    • \n
    • Previous caregiving, PCA/PCS, CNA, home care, or related experience preferred
    • \n
    • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
    • \n
    • Reliable transportation to and from assigned client locations
    • \n
    • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance when driving is required for an assignment
    • \n
    • Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling, EVV, and required documentation
    • \n
    • Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing and incontinence care
    • \n
    • Dependable, professional, patient, compassionate, and respectful
    • \n
    • Ability to follow written care instructions and agency policies
    • \n
    • Must be comfortable working in client homes where household pets may be present
    • \n
    • Must meet all applicable agency, state, program, and client-specific employment requirements
    • \n
    Employment Requirements\n

    Employment and assignment eligibility may be contingent upon successful completion and/or verification of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include:

    • Criminal background screening
    • \n
    • Required credential and identity verification
    • \n
    • CPR/First Aid certification, when required
    • \n
    • TB screening or other applicable health/safety documentation
    • \n
    • Driver's license and auto insurance verification for driving assignments
    • \n
    • Required orientation, training, competency testing, and onboarding documentation
    • \n
    \n

    Requirements may vary depending on the position, client assignment, payer/program requirements, and applicable law.

    Physical & Work Environment\n

    This position provides services primarily in private residences and community settings. Work environments will vary by client and may include household pets.

    \n

    The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, assisting with personal care, and assisting clients with mobility or transfers in accordance with the client's care plan and the employee's training.

    \n

    Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
