ESRV Enhanced Care Services Inc. is a licensed home care agency serving seniors and adults with chronic health conditions or disabilities throughout Prince George's, Montgomery, Charles, Anne Arundel, Howard, and Calvert counties. We help clients stay safely and comfortably in their own homes — avoiding unnecessary hospitalization and unnecessary facility placement.


We are hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide compassionate, dependable in-home support to our clients under Maryland's Community Options Waiver and Community First Choice programs.


Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Assist with meal preparation
• Provide light housekeeping related to client care areas
• Provide companionship and safety supervision
• Assist with transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
• Provide transportation assistance to appointments or errands as needed
• Report any changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing or supervising nurse immediately
• Maintain accurate documentation, including EVV clock-in/clock-out compliance
• Follow all client care plans as directed by nursing staff

Requirements:

• Must be willing to complete CJIS fingerprinting/background check in ESRV's agency name prior to client assignment (required for Medicaid clients — no exceptions)
• Must be 18 years or older
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable transportation to client homes within service area
• Strong communication skills and dependability
• Prior caregiving, home care, or personal care experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and TB/Hepatitis B screening as required for employment
